Anyone who saw my other post about a Coyote attacking my Bulldog, here is what happened.

He got away and is now nicknamed stumpy

. . . and I definately don't feel bad for stumpy. I hope he meets his maker sooner than later.

I'm surprised your bulldog didn't tear it up. I'm in no way saying bulldogs are aggressive or anything but I know if they feel threatened they can take care of themselves. Good job with the trap too.

Strange, I thought bulldogs were mean tough animals and coyotes were cowardly.

He was fairly large. Ill post a pic of my bulldog later

He wasnt so much as trying to kill the bulldog , more just pacing the fence with it. The yote never came out with the boxer though....

Coyotes are not cowards. They are cunning, smart and viscous. They castrated my brothers lab. He was a big lab and lucky to be alive. I saw a female pee at my fence behind my house, which is about 25 yards from the house, trying to lure my male rat terrier to follow. I hurried to get my gun and slung lead with her at about 125 yards. In the rush I missed. There was another yote hid in the trees waiting for the kill.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.
