Guys,
I need some help. I have 4 feeders with game cams and am tired of lugging my laptop out there to view the pics. Some people have mentioned that the best way is to get a digital picture frame that is battery operated and just slip the SD card in there and view the pics but I have looked to the ends of the earth and cannot find any battery operated digital photo frames. Does anybody know of an efficient device that I could buy that won't cost me an arm and my first born that would solve my problems?

4 extra SD cards and switch them out instead of viewing them in field? Ipads work pretty good and are easier to carry than a laptop. Here are some that might work. Digital camera and many of the new video cameras works too. Link

We found a $69 portable DVD player with an SD card slot w/7" screen. In bright sun light it is hard to see some of the pictures so like others have said we just swap the chips out and take them back to camp to view them.

X2 on getting extra set of SD cards. Switch them out and view from the cabin/house/camp X100, digital camers are ok for a quick peek but for detailed images use a larger screen like a laptop. I have 6 camers and 18 sd cards

Another vote for 2 sets of sd cards. If I want to look at pics in teh field, I just use my digital camera to view them. But, I download all my pics to my laptop and format the cards each time. I can fill up an Ipad with pics in one or two weeks.

Moultrie does make a digital picture viewer. Academy stocks 'em and they are around $60 bucks. I have one & love it. Nice clear pics, compact, just a small screen though. Good to put in your pocket & check sd cards afield & even erases them. Probally has a memory to store in it but I'm not that tech savvy to know! I like mine & was worth the $$.

I use my digital camera for in the field viewing. If there is something worth getting a better look at, I'll swap chips and bring it to camp.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

I look around on eay every now and then and find good deals on SD or micro SD cards. I also bought a mini laptop from a pawnshop for $110 that has a 10" screen and an SD slot. I can use the micro SD cards in my cell phone if I have to, but also have several of the micro-to-SD adapters so I can use them in all of my computers.

Careful using digital cams, could save files to the card and screw up your formatting..stealthcam is horrible about not liking cards. I've got the SD card adapter for IPhone & IPad, but also have spare cards in the comp bag that rides in the truck.

I use my iPad too. Walmart has the SD converter that slips in the bottom for $25 or so. Works super easy. I also carry a couple extra SD cards in my truck at all times, for when I forget my iPad.

I also swap out the SD cards. I used to view them on a Leaf River viewer, which I still have and occasionally use. My main viewing now is the computer. I plug the SD card into the reading slot on my HP Photosmart Premium printer and read the pics into the computer. Very quick. Very simple. I can then crop, delete, zoom, etc.

Just looked, whole bunch on E-BAY, cheaper then academy. Just search "moultrie Picture Viewer". These are horrible. I had one. The idea is good, but the execution sucks. The transfer rate to copy images is horrible. Viewing speed is slow. Battery life is short. The zoom feature only works for the center of the screen. For the same amount of money, you can buy a cheap digital camera that will allow you to view images and take pictures and do a better job of it. For example, this Vivitar. http://www.amazon.com/Vivitar-V5118-LIC-...=digital+camera

The battery operated viewers will run you $70-$90--and that's for the ones with 2x2 screens. I believe swapping out cards is the best plan of action--especially if your camera takes lots of photos. Doubling up on cards will probably cost you the same as a photo viewer--and allow you to review the pics in the comfort of your home or camp on a bigger screen.
