I'm seriously considering a mule deer hunt for either this year or if I am too late 2014. A BIG mule deer is on the top of my list, and it needs to be with archery equipment. Most likely I would be going solo, but may have a friend I can convince into joining me. Location isn't that important as long as there is a high possibility of seeing big deer.
Elk is second on my list, so I am also interested in an elk hunt if I can't find a mule deer hunt that fits the bill.
If you have something or can recommend someone please send me a PM.
Thanks, Brandon

Hey Brandon give me a call when you get a chance. I can hook you up with either Trip no problem. I have outfitters for both all over North America!

I would look into hunting in Southern Alberta for a mule deer. Great bucks coming from that area. 160-200" type bucks are taken in the area by archery hunters.

For what your going to pay to go out of state, consider staying in Texas. Free range west Tx elk and mule deer. Check out La Escalara and Longfellow ranches. There are also a few others in the Alpine area. Best of luck.
