Ok now im angry! My neighbors dog was just attacked (he will live but is just bitten) and now I have over 200 pictures from my game camera of the coyote...AND A FOX!!! No idea what to do! Foot traps , cages and even predator calls (obviously away from the house) and I still have not gotten the chance to kill the little bugger!

Just take a shotgun load it with buckshot and take him out. Tell your neighbors especially the one whose dog got mauled, if you hear a loud noise pay it no attention. Or use some sub sonic 22 RL if you want to be quiet, just don't miss.

We were over at friend's house in the middle of a suburb of Dallas, he lives on an acre that backs up to a creek. A yote came looking to make a meal of my little buddy girl who was in the back yard about dusk. She started barking so I went to check on her. The yote was headed towards the chain link fence, I took the dog in the house, the coyote laid down in grass thinking the tasty morsel would come back, got my friends 30-30 and dispatched the brazen bitch yote with one that hit just above her eye at about 35 yards.

Yes it made a log of noise, but the neighbors whose dog had been mauled treated me like a hero.

chief aj hfx slingshot. look it up. forget the bow, launch some bolts from a slingshot! I think these bad boys would be great for urban pest control.

supposedly the inventor "chief aj" has even taken black bear with this thing.

Try the leg traps with the turkey legs tied to fence that way he has to be stepping around the area trying to get the legs.

Try one of these:

I bought one myself, but I'm recovering from back surgery and haven't got to try it yet. I got it because of all the stray pets around my place, and it's non lethal (if you want it to be)

Mmmm Hmmm

It's a bite-pull mechanism, like the old cyanide bombs the government trappers used. When they bite and pull on the trigger, it shoots the snare over their head and locks down. The people that make them swear by them, of course, lol. Like I said, I haven't tried it yet, but it doesn't look too hard to set.
Here is a vid of a yote cayght in one:

As a teenager we would use 22LR subsonics and climb up on the roof of the house (so we were shooting into the ground.) We had big lots in our subdivision, the neighbors never knew we were varmint hunting next door. We felt like snipers and the roof ridge made a great bench rest and a place to hide behind. The porch light was all we needed. Dad would never hear the shots from inside the house.
I borrowed a big live trap from a friend for catching racoons. This thing was huge 2' x 2' x 4'. I bet that would catch a coyote. He used it for catching stray dogs.

Where are you located?

String up some red christmas lights on the back fence if you have a problem seeing the yote. He will never see them.

Works well in populated areas without explanations..... Folks are surprised the first time.
