Although there are recommended Cooper's BBQ restaurants in TX, the one in Junction is apparently (as they told me) unrelated. I made the mistake of eating there. The ribs were "old" ..... cooked much earlier and just tasted bad. The brisket was literally crisp. Their cole slaw was (so help me) slimey. I debated posting this, afterall - I am no BBQ expert. But, I feel strongly that folks should be able to avoid a rip-off, as I feel this place was/is.

Yup. We have a place in Junction and I will drive to Llano if I want Coopers.

I just ate at Coopers in Junction last Friday and it was great, had a sliced brisket sandwich.

Also enjoyed the wonderful taxidermy of two racoons paddling in a small canoe haha.

They totally suck. Go over the bridge to Lums BBQ, awesome stuff and I consider myself a connoisseur of BBQ

I've been to the one in Ft. Worth and nothing like the Llano location. Llano Cooper's ftw as far as Coopers goes.

Have to agree 100%. Coopers in Junction simply put is not very good.

One of the best burgers in Texas is at Issacs in Junction!

Not a big fan of the one in Llano, when going to the lake there is always someone in the group that wants to stop there and eat, the last time I went the ribs were crispy, dried out and the brisket was dried out and hard. Al's BBQ in Big spring, Tx is some good BBQ
