Been hunting predators in daytime for years but now getting into night hunting. What kind of gun lights and spotlights do you recommend? Thanks

Xlr250 from wildlife technologies works pretty well as a rifle mounted light. I've been able to make out critters to 200-250 yards and see eyes even further

definitely this. I use the same thing. As far as a spotlight we use the lightforce with a dimmer built in.

Hi jskin,

Check out the new Handheld HID from Lightforce. We have starting using one and it a most impressive spotlight.

I have a LightForce gun mounted light, but it is bulky and cumbersome. A couple of my buddies have bought the new Cabela's LED Scope Light and are very happy with it.

x2 on both the Hogzilla and XLR250. No problem shooting with either of them at 200 yards.

For a gun light I use the STIK N SHOOT Magnetic light. 200 lumen green light. My tests show, you can see eyes at 250-300yds and body at 150 yds.

Go with the three mode XLR 250 you will then have a 30yd.100yd. and 250yd. light. What more would you need?

XLR 250 for me.

That said, I also use a feeder light. The MR Beams motion-activated, battery-powered spotlight will tell you when the hogs are at your feeder as well as light them up for a shot...

I also prefer an illuminated reticle, but that's a preference and not a necessity.
