Marlin 1894 in 44 mag, only because I don't have a lever action..

I'd save $50 more and get a M1 Garand from the CMP.

I'd save $50 more and get a M1 Garand from the CMP. This exactly. Got 2 more on order, hopefully will be here by the end of Jan. Best deal in C&R rifles out there.

I've got some cash burning a hole in my pocket. Anything 10mm would/will be fun. Do you hunt with your firearms or do you use them mainly for target? This would be the first question I would ask in determining the priority of each firearm category. You can easily use process of elimination to find a good group of guns to look at. I would buy a reloading setup if I had $600 and didn’t already have one…just some food for thought

You could make a down payment on an AR. Financing might be a little tough though! I'd probably put some more with it and go find a Ruger #1 or a Winchester 94 in 38-55.
