I have no pictures of this deer from previous years and have been watching him all year. I have not seen him in person, just on camera. I keep waffling on the age and wanted to see what all you experts have to say...

4.5 yr old. Hock is not stained and scaulded down his back legs. Face is not cupped or dished of an older buck. Facial color is more of a 4 yr old deer. Not enough muscling in the neck to call him older than 4. Brisket does not extend down below his elbow joint on the body line to be called older IMO.

Body wise the deer doesn't even look like the same one from the two sets of pictures.

The second set of pics makes me agree with stxranchman.

I agree I think the top pic and bottom are 2 different deer. Maybe it's just the pic angle. Bottom I say 4.5 top 5.5.

I can assure you they aren't different. If I was still at the computer, I would show you the profile of the horns and they are pretty distinct. Just pre-rut and post-rut
