OP stxranchman Obie Juan Kenobi S Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 60,296 Gillespie County	I left western Kansas at 4 am on 12-1 to head to Fort Stockton to hunt that evening. While about halfway from Syracuse to Elkhart Kansas I started to see a glow to the east of the moring sun on the low clouds. By the time I got halfway from Elkhart Kansas to Texoma on the border of Texas and Oklahoma it was an awesome sunrise. I had to stop and shoot some pics. The colors were just brilliant. The only thing I did to some pics was darken the shadows to darken out the ground. Most are untouched for the actual colors. Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

My wife gives me a hard time when I want to pull over to gawk at a sunset or a towering thunderhead billowing on the horizon. Thanks for sharing with us. My fav is the 2nd to last Eternity in heaven or hell will be measured on a yardstick. The 10 inches between the brain and heart is the greatest chasm between God and Man. We can fool ourselves, but we cannot fool God.
