I have been considering a Cannon 48 gun safe from Academy for about a grand. Does anyone have any experience with these or have any reasons that this would be a poor purchase?

Thanks guys.

My dad has a large cannon, IMO Liberty seems to be a much better option to protect your most valuable items. Just bought me a liberty after doing ALOT of research. Either one will work though.

Can you give me some details on why you picked the Liberty? PM if you would prefer to not air any dirty laundry.

Yeah T Bone, that was the one I wanted, but unfortunately I threw my back out and couldn't get in the truck to get there. I made it out on Saturday and found out that was a one day deal.

I have a cannon that i bought from academy about 12 years ago. No problems with it. Bought a liberty fatboy about 5 years ago and it is alot heavier built than the cannon, and has a higher fire rating. Liberty has a higher price tag than cannon. Both are good products so it comes down to how much money you want to spend.
