my 14 yr old boy has the itch. Has taken down about 3 does over past two years and one spike. Salivating for a buck. we are in DFW area and are open to hunts within 2-3 hours. We have one gun between us so he will do most/all of the hunting. Weekends are best but can do anytime between dec 20 and jan 3 when school is out. Would like to keep this cost effective but want a successful hunt vs just a weekend in a deer blind where my gun stays cold. Thanks in advance.
