The mission; provide a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. After an attempt to lure his prey into hunting range failed, the great hunter took action. Leaving his safe place of cover, he began to stalk a large group of turkey surrounding the water trough. Using stealth and cunning he worked his way around the area skillfully without alerting the sentries the flock had placed to warn them of danger. The great hunter finally got into position and picked out a choice bird, then fired with confidence. All the turkey went into survival mode after the report of the shotgun, scurrying quickly to avoid the pending danger and doom. Once the dust settled, it was discovered that these turkey were of a superior breed able to dodge bullets at a pace so fast the human eye could not detect their movement. The flock quickly moved to the cover, and what they though was safety, of the draw. But this did not deter the Great Hunter. After making some calibrations to take into account for their super fast bullet dodging skills, the hunt was back on. Our Great Hunter again began to stalk his prey into the brushy cover, crossing deep ravines and scaling large boulders until the opportunity presented itself to make the kill. Seeing his one chance, the Great Hunter knelt down this time making sure he had a good aim on these bullet dodging birds. Seizing his chance, the Great Hunter fired once more. The turkey's went into a great frenzy, dust and feathers filled the air, and our Great Hunter sat with pride that he had made a successful shot. After letting everything settle, our Great Hunter approached the area sure to have bagged a great bird to provide for his family's meal. To the on-looker's surprise, not only had the Great Hunter bag one great turkey, but he had actually bagged two turkey with one shot. These bullet dodging turkey have met their match and word is sure to get out that there is a Really Great Hunter in these parts.
