Looks interesting, but do you have to unzip it to use it? If so, that sort of sucks. The video claims that it won't affect your hunting. That is terribly misleading if every time you want to use your binocs, night vision, or want to sight in on an animal that you have to unzip or open up to do so. You can't tell me that doing so doesn't affect your hunting. Right there, you know it you are opening yourself up to the cold and your are delayed in your reaction time be having to get your arms and shoulder(s) out in order to grab your rifle to shoot. I notice that nobody in the videos shown going for their rifles or bow has their bag zipped. Do you think maybe because that would ruin the quietness and speed (slowed as it already is) of being able to get on game? Look at the guy in the tree stand with the heater body suit on and zipped up on the products page. http://www.heaterbodysuit.com/products.heaterbodysuits.html He is zipped up and can't even hold onto his bow because there is no place for his hands to grasp it. So he sees an animal and must unzip, reach out of the suit for the bow, get the other arm out and get the suit back off his shoulders in order to shoot. That will indeed affect your hunting. It reminds me of a sleeping bag. It even rolls up like one. That isn't to say it is necessarily a bad application of a sleeping bag, only that you could probably do the same thing with a sleeping bag. In fact, the Brits have an arctic sleeping bag set up in this manner... http://www.silvermans.co.uk/ProductDetai.../0/Default.aspxOr you can find things like this... http://www.cyclocamping.com/Sleeping_Bag...0005110-75.aspx

When in the Army out on fort hood for mortar training missions we would use the mummy sleeping bag just like that. Get in stay warm get a fire mission slide it off and get to it. End of fire mission shrug it back on. But if zipped up it would ruin your time getting on the gun.

More like oversized winter coveralls with no hat and no arms.

That guy in the Heater Body Suit looks a lot like the turkeys I just unwrapped to prepare for deep frying.
If he could see how silly he looks, his laughter would blow what cover he had.
But it is probably nice and warm.

Doesn't look practical for hunting. If I lived in North Dakota I would have one in the truck in case of a break down.

For $300 it better work great! Nothing wrong with an old camo sleeping bag!
