I'm in the stand right now with my OTTS built 300 BLK SBR (9") with my 7.62 suppressor, Leo CQ/ T 1-4 scope. Had 3 small piggies 100-150 lb, near the feeder from 6-6:40, they left and a small basket 6 came and went by just after 7.
Now I have a flock of crows in front of me, going to stay another hour then do some work out here.

Carried the Cooper 6.5-284 on my first hunt this year. Got a nice buck within bow range on the first gun hunt of the year bang oh well lets just say there was no tracking required DRT.

My old Savage 99 .308 won out. I did my job and it did it's job! I can clean it and put it up now.

I know it is too much, but it is a good allaround gun if you hunt in colorado also

I will be taking my Marlin 45-70 Guide Gun, I like the knock down dower of it and is my go to deer/hog gun. Everything that I hit with it pretty much is knocked over DRT and doesn't take a step. I will be hunting primarily brush country with the shots not being over 100yrds so this gun is prefect for that, not to mention it has a short 18" barrel and make it easy to move around in the blind. grin grin grin

Always a tough choice but I think I'll go with my old trust browning 270 win its been my most reliable rifle for over 15 years but ill alternate between it and my 308 and mabey mix in the 7 mag once or twice. I'm just happy to be putting the crossbow back in the closet until next September and get to do some real hunting.
