You should remove the part in your original asking what others thoughts are if your gonna get offended. I'm sure not many care if you post on here or not.

Lol you have got to be kidding right? Im sorry I hurt someones feelings calling that 120 inch 8 point is a cull. You sir are the reason people like me dont post pictures of deer or post on this website at all....

I would hate to show the pictures of the 170 we are hunting because someone else might "Never see a deer like that in their lives"

lmao.... happy hunting my people! [/quote]

Shoot him in the guts and let him run off so you don't have to burn a tag

Who cares what all the jack wagons say. If he's not what you want on your place shoot him.

That would be considered a cull, management, DEAD deer on lots of places in Tx.

Tough to tell from those pics, but I would say 4.5 and yes it is a cull. Doesn't matter to me if you cull it for inferior genetics or cull it for management purposes, or let someone shoot it as a trophy. If you take a deer out of the herd for any reason, you just "culled" the herd.

With as many people on here that post deer like this, I am shocked at some of the comments. What difference does it make if he calls it a cull or management deer? Most the time, the only difference that means to me is the price tag.

And if you get offended because someone has bigger deer than you or would cull a deer that you might have on your wall, you have a problem. I have a 5.5 yo ten on my wall that scored 132" and I have been on ranches that "cull" that deer as a management buck and STX would have shot him at 1.5 as a cull.

Clear Creek he is 4.5 I am not that far from you ,I have had some 8,s that grow a lot of kickers at 5.5 to 6.5 but the ranch I guide on Shackleford county we shoot those for management bucks. But they can get a lot bigger where we are.So you right to shoot hjm or give him 1 more year.

Sorry I got caught up in the BS and forgot your question. Do you have any side profile pics? From the pics you posted he looks 4.5 to me.

STX would have picked him out as a nubbin buck with inferior nubs and smoked him.

What does it matter what he calls the deer? If someone gets offended by him calling that deer a cull, they need to in line to vote for Obama on Wednesday cause they will get there dainty panties in a wad over anything. If you get offended by him calling that buck a cull, you would want to shoot me for what I call a cull. That deer in certain areas of the state might be someone's "trophy". On his place evidently it's not, so quit lacing into him and just answer the question he asks instead of an unwanted discertation on the terminology he uses.

Muscle him out and run the steaks thru a tenderizer and you won't know he was a buck if you kill him first weekend.

Once again I will say I hate the word cull. If he is legal and you want to kill him then kill him. No need in name calling.

Y'all are all wrong about Stx. He would have started that buck on Enfamil as a fawn, soon graduating him onto straight blubber rich seal milk, and followed by protein shakes and muscle max builder by the age of two.

By this age that buck would have been a 200 inch monster on Stx's ranches.

That's a "management trophy cull" right there.

If he manages to walk by my stands, Id say "look at that trophy" and then cull him from the herd!
