Just Google black hairy spider and you can read all you want to about it... Id be carefull typing stuff like that into google...

Just Google black hairy spider and you can read all you want to about it... Id be carefull typing stuff like that into google... may get more than what you bargain for!

It's a Black Jumping Spider. And, yes, they are harmless.
