I picked up a 163 acere lease between Mt Pleasant and Dangerfield this weekend. I was wondering how the deer hunting in this is and if anyone hunts this area and if they have had any luck

My FIL hunted there until this year, they killed a nice 8 there last year. I know there are a lot of big bucks that like to cross just this side of Poolside grocery.
How close are you to Boggy Creek?

Property line is about 500 yards from boggy creek going towards mt pleasant

That's the Justiss Ranch there? My FIL hunted exactly 1 mile east of where Boggy Creek crosses 49. Good deer down there, I'm jealous, about a 5 minute drive from my parents house.

I asked my FIL to send me a pic of the deer they killed last year, I will post it if he sends it to me, otherwise, keep us informed on how it goes/what you see. Good luck!
