Is it legal to bow hunt for hogs in city limits? I'm in Irving by the way.

Probably not, but I hear some are hunting down by the trinity, might want to make a phone call to the city.

Not sure about the hnting but Mckinney has an ordinance against projectiles.. Arrows, bolts, paintballs etc.. That could be an issue..

I know in Ferris it's illegal to discharge a weapon including a bow within the city limits. I was wanting to hunt some land, but it was inside the city limits.

You may hunt inside the city limits of any city in Texas as long as you have 10 acres or more. Thank our great gov. Rick Perry for such a wonderful thing. This law supercedes any city regulations because it is a state law.

I hunt in city limits on one of my places. I called the police department and the local gw. Have had a few problems with the people next door but I'm totally legal. Gw didn't even know the local law she was happy to find out so her husband could hunt out of their backyard. It's a 7 acre place so I gotta make the shot count.
