I did this about two years ago. Had a decent 8 come in at 20 yrds and shot. I thought I had smoked him. I was doin a lil bit of self videoing so when I replayed the footage on the display screen it looked like a heart shot. I found good blood initially and then it began to thin out and eventually dissappeared. Well I went to the house and replayed the fottage on a big screen and sure enough I had shot him about 2 inches low and forward...Never saw him again so he could be dead but its definitely a bad feeling to lose one completely. At least you know you Can maybe get a second chance! Youll dust him next time for sure brotha!

the head down eating position cleared up a big question I had about how it went in low and came out high......I was scratching my head on that one

I am still confused as to what EXACTLY happened. I am just glad that he his still alive and I still have a chance at him. I'm going out tonight and going to hunt all weekend, so hopefully he will give me a second chance.
