Since this is my first post, I will introduce myself. My name is Mike, I am from the Sweethome, TX area in Lavaca county. I am an avid deer hunter, mainly bow hunting. I hunt in Lavaca county and Colorado counties. I run a full time taxidermy studio, so my hunting is mainly limited to October.

I am looking for some help on the age and spread of this buck. I am thinking at least 4.5. I know he won't score much, and I don't know if he will meet the 13" inside spread requirement.

I'd say based in that bottom pic he might make it...

welcome to the forum, I think 4.5 is a good guess only thing that makes it look 5.5 is that big arch in his back. It will be really close but thinking it is right at 13" good luck

I think he will make it but not by much!

By the last pic I think he is an old man and will be legal. Unless you see something different in person closer up.

Thanks for all of your input. If he shows up I will try to take him. He is not exactly what I am looking for, but he needs to be taken out of the gene pool.
