What about when pigs are bought and sold by individuals? I dont see where selling them to mbennet would be an issue, as it is absurd to tell people they can't transport their livestock for business purposes. Leave it to the backseat driving idiots at the TDA to impose laws that are illogical, impractical and a burden on Texas businesses. I'm so damned sick of govt interference in every little aspect of our lives and jobs.

Pigs are very destructive. I don't like the government getting involved in everything. However, there are a lot of idiots out there that would by them and just set them loose in their hunting area just so they could have hogs. With the amount of damage they do to the land and crops. There needs to be some checks and balances in place.

If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

Don't know, I don't make the rules.

That doesn't work for just any high fence. It has to be approved for feral swine with a "hog proof fence" whatever that is. Also, sows and shoats (whatever that is) cannot be transported to an approved game facility. Boars have to have ID's (whatever that is) prior to transport.

Too many rules for me to keep straight. I'm not in that business, I'm just getting rid of our ranchers hog problem.

Good Hunting,
Gary

Hardy guys, I talked to Gary and he is a nice guy. They are not good rules, but he has to fellow them to be legal. So don't jump on Jim about it.
