i have a lease near Freer Tx and see a ton of doves and have heard the dove hunting is great

was seeing if anyone has hunted doves in the area and how their luck has been

It would suck. Everybody knows when you see a bunch of birds hunting that area its useless. They have obviously banded together and have outsmarted all the hunters in that specific area to allow their population to expand to their current levels. The hunters who are telling you they do great should not be trusted as they are all lying to you. Your attempts at harvesting these fanged beasts would be futile.

No I'm sure it would be great hunting if there are plenty dove around.

Free is ok. When you get further south the dove hunting gets good. If you have a small pond or water hole you will have some luck, there is not a lot of grain fields around that area so food sources are limited.
