I figured I'd share this one. I got him around Carrizo Springs. He had 14 rattles and a button, and sure got my heart racing. I'm going back down there next week after some hogs and coyotes. Hopefully I don't see any of these guys.

Our place in West Texas is supposedly leaded with rattlers...I looked all year and never spotted a 1. The 1 trip I had to cancel at the last minute on they had 4 or 5 they got within 25 feet of the house.
