I have a co worker that is trying to figure out what the value is of his gun. Here is some of the information

Winchester Model 94 30-30

Serial Number starts with 304

Gun has only been fired 2 time. He is the original purchaser of the fire arm. Has zero marks on it. Looks like he bought it yesterday. Needing a value for his new home owners policy..

Thanks

Chris

is that serial number in the 3 thousands, the 30 thousands or the 300 thousands? (Need a better handle on when it was manufactured). Or since he is the original owner, when was it purchased?

For insurance purposes, I'd say 4400 to $500.

If you took it to a gun store, they would offer you less than that and probably price it a little higher. If you tried to market it yourself and were patient, you should be able to get something in that range, since the gun is in pristine shape. JMO, of course. You never know what someone will pay til you try!
