I think that I took that Picture of Jr, and his buck at our lease in Grayson county. He came to our camp right after he left haggerman with him. I have a bunch of pictures that were taken that day. Regina knows me well. I hunted all over Texas with Jr. along with Gerry Grigg. I`m the one that wrote the story for Jr, and he had it hanging in a frame in the house for a long time. I`ll send you a PM.

I remember that great photo. I think it was in the Herald Democrat. I'm sure your grandpa is smiling back at you from heaven right now.

I was hunting Hagerman the first time that year when he killed that deer. I was also lucky enough to see it the day he killed him and even luckier to know and shoot some with JR when I was really young. They are correct though...when he pulled the recurve out at the 3D range, the rest of the traditional guys just as well pack up and head to the house LOL
