Any public land hunters around Emory?

I live in Emory, and hunt wma's all the time, I run hounds at white oak creek, and old Sabine bottom all the time, plus deer and hog hunt....

I wanna check out the old sabine bottom soon , went to duck cove yesterday and never even got out of the truck , made me sick to look around. I just moved up here and hope that is not an indicator of the type of neighbors I have.

I would not leave my truck parked their, just saying....

Not sure what you are hunting but OSB gets lots of presure,not much game in their,l just coon hunt In their...

The best hog hunting is Richland creek wma, Gus Engeling is pretty good to, they are not to far about 1 1/2 hour drive....

i drove by richland creek on Wednesday and say some pigs on the outskirt it is mostly flooded but there was wildlife eating on the side of the road. heard good things about gus engeling as well and seeing how it is practically across the street not a wasted trip at all.. im going to check it out in a few weeks when the water resides alittle

They will be running dogs in their till march, I will be in their running my hounds next weekend...

They have been doging in their for 2 weeks, hope they have not ran em all out of their....

Swamp hunter if you are going to run dogs in their one thing you can count on is your dogs geting in with someone else's,just part of it, kind of sucks....

That's what I was planning on doing is camping at wright patman Fri,around Thomas lake, I hunt Plotts, walkers, black mouth curs, and pits.

was out at OSB yesterday, found alot of fresh tracks, covered alot of area not one pig in sight, off of 1804.

But i am willing to go back next weekend, not too bummed on the place yet
