Here is central Texas composite radar on rainfall for about the last 30 hrs. On blue tab on the left menu under rainfall click on storm total.

Rain! Ya.. Oh wait, myself nor my crew can work. Lost pay to the tune of about $1K just for today, not counting what my guys will be missing from their checks.. Why are we excited about rain again?

I'm seriously happy that some of you folks wanted/needed the rain and now are getting it.. Now that you have some, can it please stop?

Jonesfisher-you are more than welcome to my share.. Just get it OUT of the city!

THF Express Alert... If anyone's heading north to the panhandle can you please hitch up a couple or 3 thunderstorms and take them with you. Need to spread the wealth here....

Selfish much? You've heard of this historical drought, right?

LOL.... sorry pal, your thousand dollar loss is jack [censored] compared to the hundreds of millions lost from the effect of this drought.

Been a long time since the old fishing hole was full here!
I've had to keep enough water in it with a pipe from the well to keep the fish alive the last 5 months!

1.5" here at the house in Bandera and happy to get it. Maybe one of these days it will rain enough to put some water in the tanks. At least it is greener than last year at this time.

My trusty old NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE APPROVED 5 gallon bucket shows that we got between 7-8 inches in eastern Erath cty. It came roaring down these hills with a vengeance. It actually washed out the dam on one of our smaller tanks. In 13 years here I've never seen this much rain in such a short time. The creek is really flowing. Thank you Lord.

Sorry kawabuggy one days pay or a weeks pay or a months pay, we have lost 8 months and I can't count the businesses around the lakes due to the drought. I think I can speak for most of the state, we welcome the rain. Bring on some more

I am with Jake, have a 6in. rain gauge, running over. Honestly it completely sucked today. Every water gap out, flooded everything we have around Santo. Honestly, its good, just really messy. Hope everyone else gets some rain too.
