Bet on some activity here today, maybe. I'm just following the crowd.

Damn...all I got was a quiver butt decoy, a quiver magnet and a slide on cap head light...which I already own one of. I did get a $100 gift card to a local gun shop but I would have rather had one to Academy, not to mention sportsmens or Cabelas.

A quiver butt, decoy? That just doesn’t sound right. You duck hunters are a scary bunch.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Best of luck getting that stuff from Mack's before next season.

At the other site, you can start a thread on Mack's and 90% of the replies will be the worst horror stories, about customer service. I have not ordered from there since the last debacle and will not ever again.

Follow the link provided by Turtle in the "Layout Blind" thread if your ordering online, I've been using Rogers exclusively for a while, no probs and their decoys are cheaper than anyone else.

Yeah I don't see why you'd want to mail order anything that you could get at Cabela's or Sportsmens since it's a pretty close drive for you. I've looked at Mack's shipping and it's as high as it gets.

Mack's shipping philosophy seems to center on one compound word - backorder.

Also a word of advice. Ordering from Cablea's, even in Texas you do not incur sales tax. I have never even been to the Cabela's in DFW, count gas and time, can't beat ordering online.
