Just had a very skidish doe come out. She looked like she was on cocaine! Hung around for about 3 minutes and left. Was hoping a monster was on her tail...

I gave it up around 9 this am, had a decent 8 at the feeder from 6:35-6:45. I could see him with my binos or scope, but not without one of them. As soon as it started breaking daylight, he left and nothing else was moving.

I hunted Erath county this weekend and I had to give up and come home last night . It was like a hurrican out , and has been for awhile . Hope your (our) hunting gets better . Where do you hunt at ? We are out towards Carlton .

I hunted Erath county this weekend and I had to give up and come home last night . It was like a hurrican out , and has been for awhile . Hope your (our) hunting gets better . Where do you hunt at ? We are out towards Carlton . North Brown county, south of Cross Plains. Wind blew steady at 20+ and had gusts to 45 or so.

I was in a pop up ground blind on the edge of a plateau. It held up like a champ. I was ready to give up at 8 then at 8:10 a big body 6 pointer rolled on by.
