OK People... I even quoted the guy's post where he said it was a slow day at the golf course and he wanted to ruffle some feathers...

OK People... I even quoted the guy's post where he said it was a slow day at the golf course and he wanted to ruffle some feathers...
If you ignore him, he will go away... only a golfer would say somethin like that anyway...ruffle some feathers....gay much?

poor guy, he was just a good ol' boy trying to feed his family and that jerk went and called the GW. was there any signs that said no hunting? probably not. Thats the problem, all of these landowners too stingy to let people go and hunt. There are plenty of deer so what is the issue? Everyone is so quick to throw the book at this guy. he is a fellow hunter. respect that! I hope you are kidding, otherwise you are trolling and that is a violation of THF Rules. 8. We promote a friendly atmosphere for hunters to exchange ideas. Differences of opinions are welcome and are an important part of this format. We do not, however, tolerate those that try to start an argument with every post. If you are looking to agitate people, simply to get a response or if you are a troller, this is not the place for you.

Yeah, I'm not so sure mideon2000 is trolling. In an old post of his he says he owns 16 acres and crosses onto his neighbors' places to followup on wounded deer, without permission. (Isn't that illegal?)

Very smart move! About 5 years ago I was hunting on family property that has an easement running through it to other family members' land on the back side. I was watching a pretty nice 8 point buck work his way across the pasture towards me when I noticed a car driving on the easement. The car disappeared from my view because my line of sight was blocked by a yaupon thicket. Then I heard a gunshot, saw glimpes of this car backing up, and a man open the trunk of his car. It only took me a few seconds to conclude that this person had poached a deer.
I went flying out of the stand with my rifle and ran across the pasture hollering at this man to stop. When i approached him, he had already shut the trunk of his car and I told him to open it up. There was the 8 point buck I had been watching!
I didn't have a telephone and was in a remote area not near a telephone. I informed the man he was trespassing, that he had illegally taken this deer, and that he was going to sign it over to me. His story was that as he was driving to his "day lease" on another family member's property, he saw this nice buck and "just couldn't resist the temptation." I had no sympathy for him. Looking back, I should have turned him in to the game warden later! I demanded to see his driver's and hunting licenses, so I knew who he was. Fortunately I was able to catch him in the act and didn't come to any harm in the process. I guess it is pretty hard to argue with someone with a 30.06 in hand, even it is a woman.
Trespassers are just plain thieves and I have no use for a thief of any kind!
