I was beginning to think that he didn't make it through the year. Finally got a pic of him Saturday.I think this is the same deer. I am pretty sure it is. Any guess on score or age?

I agree. The last 3 look to be the same a year before though.

I would say it is the same buck. First pics from last Dec. shows he is middle aged and those are rut pics. This year he shows he is a little larger in body size. Shape of the beams and browtines have the same shape. This was a bad year for antler growth for some and it might be why he is not the nontypical looking buck he was last year in a very wet year for most. It also appears in this year pics that he might have been wounded last year with that tuft of hair under his brisket/belly area that is hanging down. Either shot, hooked in a fight late season and missed with a bow or hung on a fence jumping it. He is a nice looking buck.

Not sure why that is funny. IMO, I think he may be down from last year due to the drought or has reached his peak and is on the down slide. Or, he could be the offspring.

Do you hunt montague county?? If so I can show you pictures of that buck in the back of a fellows pickup! He looks carbon copy exactly like a buck a friend of mine shot last fall!!
