Back in the 80s, I was on a 21 acre piece of land with 2 others while I was in college. Man, I was big time back then, lol. Did shoot a decent 8 point one time and a good ten picked up on me as I was drawing my bow on him. Whatever it takes to get out in the woods.

About 20 acres north of college station while I was in school there. All we shot were does during the doe days and some spikes.

3 of us, dad and brother, alternated on a 21 acre oat field in Bosque county in the late 80's. There was one stand on it and only 2 would hunt at a time. Spent some great time all day long in it with both of them with one person being the shooter for the day. I think we killed a small buck and a doe but that was the least of out worries then. Seeing deer and and spending time outdoors was the best part.

5 acres but only if it backs up to a big well-managed hunting ranch.

To be determined

i have been hunting my uncles place for almost 30 years with him, pops, and my bros. 20 acres +/- with 1 blind and 2 feeders. it has always been a family gig. uncle is surrounded by 5-10 acre plots all with some sort of feeder/stand setup. always tag out(except for last year)but have never seen the kind of deer that i see on here. probably never seen anything over 3 years old due to all the other hunters. deer season sounds like gun range.

I currently hunt 180 acres of think north Wisconsin woods with 9 hunters(6 during bow season, 9 for gun). But do have friends that bow hunt locally on 20 acres or less.

i have hunted twice on 32 acres that my inlaws own, killed a doe for meat and an axis doe, that was pretty much it.

I have hunted a few times on buddies of mine's 50-100 acre family properties, nothing too serious just good times

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

awesome, i was just curious, it seems like most people are on smaller places and do good with them. we have never had anything over 300 acres with 4 to 6 people at the most. it is about just being out there with family for sure. but doenst hurt to have a few deer too

I have a 50 acre "lease" (it's free) on the Blanco River. It's been one of the most productive places I've ever hunted, including places 10 x's larger.

No wall hanging trophies but decent hill country 8's and 10's are consistent, along with hogs, 'yotes, bobcats and fox. Gotta love river bottoms.

My neighbor hunts on 13 acres and he has a friend who hunts with him. I talked to him for the first time last weekend. Tried to show him pics of some of the nicer bucks i have on cam, so maybe he would be inclined to let the smaller/younger deer walk. I have no idea if my tactic worked, but i tried. Oh yea, his first question to me was whether or not we could swap some hunting ground, meaning i could have access to his 13 acres and he would have access to my 600....needless to say i said no. And now im checking my game cams regularly because he told me that he crossed the fence on the backside and saw a hog trap, stand, game cam, etc.. it wasnt mine, but another neighbors. Ok im off my soapbox now, just had to vent....

I hunt on a 13 acre piece of family property out near Dayton. It's down in the river bottoms. Surrounded by a big ranch and other 10-100 acre tracts. I have yet to take any deer, but its only my second season out there. Got a few bucks coming in, not sure if I'll take one or not. My cousin has shot a nice 8 and a descent 11 off of the place. It has potential. I kinda just want to let it sit a couple years and see. But the neighbors dont have the same mind set.
