Does the $75 included a thread protector? The barrel is 22" long. I want to cut it down to 16" or 17" and thread it. What thread size would you recomend? I'm hoping 1/2x28 will work. Do you refinish the barrel? Can I just take the barrel off and ship it to you? How much would return shipping cost? Can you give me an overall price?

Thanks, Andy
