The out of state license you need for deer is $315, do NOT buy the $48 if you are going after deer.

Actually, you can shoot up to 5 deer, depending where you hunt.
And good luck on finding that "cheap place" to hunt!!!

You can get a doe for about $100 to $200. Don't think I have seen a buck hunt for less than $750. We don't have much cropland where deer are nuisance. We have cattle land where without hunting, many would just get up and leave. It is an income to landowners here.

You can't just by an out of state license at the same place you buy regular ones? I am/was planning on a 1 day hog hunt while visiting for Christmas and expecting to just hit the local Walmart for one when we got down there.

$315 for out of state license which includes all species .... still need to buy migratory stamps and turkey/archery/etc stamps. The 5 day license for out of state is $48 and includes all species except for deer and turkey (still need stamps for migratory). That 5 day license does allow you to harvest exotic animals as well.
