Is should I hunt the same stand everyday in hopes of him showing himself during the next 5 days or should I hunt another stand location some

That depends on how much time you spend around your stand in the off season. If you spend alot time around the stand and the deer are used to your scent then if the wind was right I would hunt it a couple of times. Are they showing regularly in the daylight in the morning or evening? I would give a rest if I could for a day or so.

I think this comes down to how much scent you leave in the woods!

Can you enter and exit the stand quietly without alerting the deer?

How hot is it? are you going to be sweating in the stand?

Are you going to have 5 consecutive days of favorable wind for that specific stand?

Hunting morning or evening (or both)?

If you pre determine hunting any stand for 5 days straight with a BOW, your asking to get busted. The chances of this increases if you are hunting mature deer. I would think 5 days would be a little much.Better to be patient and only hunt your stands when the conditions are perfect, if you have some other options. Best of luck to you. Wish our opener was in five days!

I'D TAKE MY CHANCES IN YOUR STAND.

There are two kinds of people in this world, those who believe they can and those who believe they can't. They are both correct.

If it is every other day I would chance on that schedule. I would also make it an afternoon sit so that I could get in early and not spook them off. Mornings you are more likely to be busted walking in early IMO and more likely to leave scent on dew laden grass. If you have thermals take those into consideration also on your hunt. Good luck and post some pics up for us to enjoy.

Spook one with a double lung arrow, then let it rest until gun season and spook the others.

Get up in the stand early and if you hunt evening get there early also.

If you have no wind at all, you more than likely will get busted just trying to draw your bow. I hate not having even a little breeze to mask the sound of my heart beating.

I'd hunt both morning and evening in the stand, and if you have no luck or you see the buck and he is on to you, then you change locations. If he doesn't show at all, and if you see other deer that act spooky, you have probably been busted and need to change your approach the next time you hunt the stand.

If the deer you see are calm then hunt it the second day, or the next. Just observe the deer, and their reaction will tell you if you are doing something wrong.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

As early as you can stand to sit till dark. You have the trail cam times to go by also so use that as as guide. Good luck.
