I ferment corn for 4-5 days in trash can with lid. Take whatever dinner leftovers and dump them in there, keep the lid on the trash can or will get fly problem. Then take it out 5 gal at a time and lightly soak with diesel. Works for me.

easy way take coke bottles fill with corn and set in the sun for few days. take off lid to let gas out everyday fill back up with water. you can add some grape koolaid if you want. also, rotting fruit works well especially peaches or plums.

This comes up about 50x a year. It is hard to say what works and how much food hogs have right now.
Best bait is what works in the area. Is there a way to find out from other hunters or land owners in the area what worked for them? If plain corn worked it will work for you as well.

yeah Big Tex i found alot, but trying to see for any special recipies... never hurts to ask I understand your point. There is no magic formula that will work everywhere. Lets approach this from another perspective. Some people like rare stakes some people well done. If I was a hog I would be used to what is available to me, nature provided or area provided and I would not touch junk food. Here is what you can do if you will hunt that area for more then just one time. Make sour corn, jello corn, diesel corn and all formulas you can find including plain corn. Bait various locations as far apart as possible. Next morning you will have answer what got hit. People swear by commercial attractant and other formulas. I do not believe corporate BS and commercialism. It's just like feeding dog with potatoes while dogs do not have enzyme to digest starch. Just use common sense and be patient.
