Does anyone know where I can order some aerial maps of my property? I use Google Earth all the time on my PC. I would like to have some prints of the land. Things I would LOVE to have on the aerial maps would be GPS Cords and Topographic Elevations. Any ideas would be very helpful.

save a jpeg file from Google maps to your hard drive. Email it to Walgreens, they will print it for you for less than $5.

County NRCS office is a great place to look also. They can get you a map for a fee.

There is an ad in the Classified by a guy that will do custom maps of your lease showing blinds, feeders, roads, camp, gates, water, boundaries about whatever you want on it. He uses the latest aerial photos not just what you get off Google Earth. http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/u..._or#Post2428247

I use Bing.com maps. They are really close. You can'r print though. I just press "printscreen" and then paste into Microsoft Paint. Works well enough for me!

Try the free download from www.snagit.com. It allows you to cut and paste from Google earth and make notations on the map, such as fence line, deer stands etc.

I've used Google Earth to capture my area, then take it to Fedex Office and refine the area, then print. I got pretty darn good results and it gave me all I needed.

www.mytopo.com has done the job for me in most instances. Just save the map to your desktop and print from there. I spent about $50 on a weatherproof version that I have used for several years now.

mytop.com does lat/long and military grid markings as an option along with custom legends. You can also do an aerial w/ topo overlay with lat/long and/or mil grid on the maps as well.
