This will be the last pics from me this year.
I have a little information in front of each pic.
Kind of makes the pics a little more interesting.

This pic is of my 2 boys and a buddy. TJ the one in the middle got a good bird. This is the first time he's been able to come out and hunt because of his baseball schedule. Hunter the one on the left with his first archery turkey a Jake. The boy on the right with his very first ever turkey a Jake.

This is a good bird a guy from MS shot 10 beard, 1 1/4 spurs.

Other MS boy with his bird. Good hunt birds were coming great to call this weekend. Shot this one at about 10 steps.

This bird wouldn't shut up and he finally gave up and came in.

This bird here kicked my butt 3 times this spring. 2 times with bow so I gave up and took a shotgunner back there.
He just gobbled at about 80 and stood under a shade tree.
Then 2 hens came by and picked him up and never saw him again.
I hope to dance with him next spring.

Bad news: All the turkey hunters I've taken over the years everyone has either got a turkey or missed. I had a guy from MS this weekend and we just couldn't get it done. We were in birds but it just didn't happen. We had lots of jakes and worked big birds but no luck. The odds said it was going to happend sooner or later.

With the drought should I even ask about the hatch this year?

Awesome job. Those birds sure are fun to hunt when they are coming to the calls!

I was out this weekend and saw 3 groups of poults and I think it's a little early. Turkeys are tough. I did find 4 dead poult in a water tank. They had fallen in and couldn't get out.
I also saw 3 baby fawns and I mean "babies"
