Sitting here in the blind watching little hogs under the feeder and it's starting to get cold. I like it. Going to enjoy it will it lasts. Soon enough it will be back to sitting here sweating. Hopefully the big boar or sow comes in soon, that would get things warmed up.

Over in Comal county. It was a refreshing 62 degrees when I finally got back to the truck. I hung out a little longer trying to call in some yotes I heard on the hike out.

The bigger hogs never showed so I'll be out again tonight trying to target a nasty old boar that has decided to plow up the area around my pig pipe.

They never do that when I only bait with corn, but the last 3 refills I've been using Hog Wild again and the resulting damage shows me just how much they really like that stuff. I couldn't help myself since the Academy off of IH35 had it all on clearance. Plus, it makes them come out much earlier than they normally do.

I could hear them squealing and fighting over the pipe from about 100 yards away. I love hunts like that, even though I didn't shoot any of the smaller piglets.

Here is the ring leader I'm after. For reference, that's a 4" PVC pipe that is 4 1/2 feet long.

Ya me either, i packed it up at 2am sat. morning and 10pm sat night. And of course the hogs came in in at 11:30 sat. night.

I did get two big coons...lol.
