Shot a hog yesterday, went out at 8:30 walked up on her in some thick brush at 9:45 and shot her at 12 feet with the AR-15 dropped like a rock. The brush was so thick I couldn't see how big she was, turned out to be somewhere in the 175-220 range. Took 2 hrs to get her out of the brush where I could cut out the meat. After we got her cleaned we went back in around 5:00pm to see if we could get my dad on one, things didn't play out right and we pushed them too hard. Saw a couple REAL big ones we counted around 10 yesterday that were within 15 yards of us. -Matt Picture doesn't do much justice, I'm still trying to work out the angles to get a perspective right so you can see how big they really are.

nice job! how were you able to stalk up on it in thick brush? Hogs is dumb... Seriously I've walked within 7 feet of them in the reeds before they got up and ran, I think they lay down in the muck to stay cool. -Matt
