Last deer season was great and my boy (10 yrs old) shot his first buck. We took it to the Extreme Artistry laso known as Artistic Expressions in Bronte and paid almost $200 for a skull mount. Guys seemed nice enough and my boy was so happy to get the mount, but they never sent me my mount!! I took it to them a few days before Thanksgiving and it was supposed to be done by Christmas. After weeks of my son repeatedly asking for his buck I called and he said he was behind and I was very understanding. He promised it would be out that week......well here we are in March and Jerry (the owner) never answers his phone or cell phone. My son is so dissapointed and so am I. The kicker is the guy also runs guide outfit, hope they have better luck than I did. It's bad enough you've got people that will take your money but when you steal a child's memory of his first buck with his dad.....thats just downright nasty!! mad I wanted to make sure this happens to no one else. Thanks for listening...

Please no one confuse this with Hall of Fame Wildlife Studio in Bronte. They did my deer and Im VERY happy.

Might need to stop by the place, not just call. A face to face "meeting" might have him step up & turn over what is yours.

I'd gladly stop by and break me off a piece but I believe he's moved and I'm 7 hours away.

Sorry to hear that. If you can go pick it up from them and ship it to me I will do it for free for you. I will even cover the return shipping. I hate to see this happen to a kids trophy. I will make his 1st priority and get it back asap

Ive had the same issue for about two years for a duck I dropped off. I am finally going to pick it up tomorrow. What helped me out a lot was just consistently call every other day and leave voice messages. He will soon get tired of you calling and hopefully call you back.

I just called the B & K processor where I go every year in Bronte and the gentleman was very helpful. Seems like the guys screwed over alot of people and everyone is looking for their mount. He's still in town but don't know much more than that. I guess the only thing I can do is contact the Chamber of Commerce and the Sheriff.....see if that can get me anywhere. I really just want my boy's mount but if that can't happen at least he'll regret what he did to alot of good people.

I've got some family around there and may be going through next week. If you'd like, I'd be happy to nose around and see what I can find out for you.

Does the Better Business Bureau keep track of taxidermists?

BBB will track any type of business. But I believe they get money from the business before "rating" is applied. As far as I am concernd BBB is a joke.

Hey Buckrage:
Try and get a hold of his I believe x wife. They used to run extreme artistry together and from what I understand they split and she is the one doing the tine repairs and what not. I will try and find her number for you. I spoke with Debra bout a month ago bout doing some tine work for me, but from what I understand she is trying to keep the boat a float with no help from her ex and he is not relaying messages to her. I will see what I can do......if you can get this thing back, I am in Tuscola and I to will offer it for free.....I hope you can get it back......if you cannot get it back....if your son kills another worthy euro buck next year holler at me and it is on the house!!!

I always put as small of a down payment as possible on a mount unless I know the taxi! Once they have your money there is no incentive for them to do your mount.

You might want to contact the Game Warden for that area since this involves game animals. His name is Jim Allen and he is very thorough in his investigations.

Good luck geting yalls mounts back!
