 2nd hunt with H&S Critter Getters

well. did ok on the predator hunt with Mike and Loyd from H&S Critter Getters.... 6.8 gave me a little trouble, misfired once then missed a fox running off, then misfired again and fumbled a few more rounds trying to get one chambered all while we had a fox coming it, still ended up shooting that fox. got 3 foxes , one yote, and two coons.... missed one fox completely and misfired and missed another fox on the run. didn't call in as many critters as last time but we did decent..... didn't see a critter from 7:30pm to 1am.... fun times, the 34 hours with no sleep was worth it! haha

Did you figure out what was causing the malfunctions?

not yet. didn't have time to mess with it... it started acting up and i used mike and loyd's .223 bolt action the rest of the night. i'm not one for watching critters run off

Did you figure out what was causing the malfunctions? i think i did... too light of trigger spring... hopefully i have time soon to fix it

I had a similar issue with my 6.8 and timney trigger. I ended up having Timney send me the 308 hammer and hammer spring, no problems since.
