I have a few friends hunting in Vernon this weekend. Has anyone hunted in that area and know how the birds are. I would appreciate any info.

Have you got any birds around your area, or heard of any around Bailey this week

I have not been able to get out yet this year but I have driven around some of the public areas and have seen very few birds.

I hunted just north of you on Opening weekend, had a few birds, but not as many as we hoped. Just thinking with this cool front maybe time to head back up that way.

I'm hoping to get out this weekend and get my license so that I can get out and shot at something. A friend of mine has been out and said that he has seen a few more now that the cool front has come in.

Spoke with my buddy this morning. Said that the birds were there by the hundreds. The majority of them limited by 0830 and still flying.
