Shuggins.. Thank you for replying, and thank you for the PM. I didn't realize I had to request a refund. I just assumed you would have records of current members and would refund based on that. Kind of like keeping track of when someones membership expired. I had found several great leases from your emails of open leases. No biggie.. Thanks all the same.. walking

I had an account on that lease site for a year and a half and all I ever got was, "I have no idea why my land is listed on that site...blah blah blah" so just stopped going to it.

This site here is the only site with actual up to date and accurate lease information because they post when they have it.

So far, I have one other site I listed on still and I will post parameters and all I get are stuff that is 3 times as expensive, as if they never looked at the ad.

*shrug*.. gotta break some eggs to make a cake I guess. No huge shakes.

Hunting is easy..it's getting permission from your wife that is tough.

Why do they have to request a refund? Being a Christian man, you should do the right thing and refund their money, no matter if they request one or not. What do you think, people dont request a refund, so they must not want their money back? Give me a break.

Do the right thing and give them their money back. Dont hide behind the excuse, "Oh, they did not ask for their money back, so I am going to keep it".

Shuggins, you played your cards and got called. You made this bed, so you sleep in it.

Have you ever heard the saying "Trust takes years to build, and seconds to break". I would look hard at the saying.

1st, I do not have a dog in this fight. I do not know the details of what transpired and will not pretend that I do.

But I have hunted with Scott and can attest that he is a Christian man. My son and I spent a weekend with Scott and one of his guides on a turkey hunt in Brady. It was a successful and fun hunt. And a far cry cheaper than the turkey hunts offered today by others. At the end of the trip, Scott did give my son and me a small bible. So if he says that he has been serving as a missionary, I would have no doubts.

I do hope that everyone involved in this issue is able to get things worked out. I would not hesitate to go hunting with Scott again.
