I have to say that after a long trip and longer season that I am happy to be home and that the duck killing is over. Time to put all my crap away and clean some guns. One thing is for sure, duck hunting unlike deer or dove wears me the heck out. I hate to see deer and dove season end, but by the time that duck season is over I am smooth worn out. The only thing I have to do now is shoot a few yotes and pigs and that will just be in passing. Gonna take my wife to the Spa at Escondida as a thank you for all the crap she has to put up with during the season.

I'm going to use paper plates all week so she doesn't have to wash as many dishes.

Sleep is wonderful, oh and I can actually walk through my garage now instead of tip-toeing through decoys and other random hunting gear.

I owe my wife 6 full weekends to allow her to go out shopping or whatever while I'm home with our son. I guess my crappie fishing will just have to be on my off days during the week. Maybe I should pitch the spa idea to knock off a few weekends.

I had a good friend tell his, that he was hunting and fishing when he met her, and he would be hunting and fishing when she was gone.

And a Grandfather-in-law tell his, that if she didnt like him being away, to get in the truck and shut up.

I get a kick out of the guys who say they just do whatever they please with no regard for the wife.

I know right off the bat, that their wife is a beast with no redeeming quality whatsoever.

Just because your nuts are in your wifes purse doesn't mean everyone else with a decent wife is in your situation. You guys need to form a support group or something. Give me a break...grow a pair.

so now your implying that you know us? maybe i should fill in the rest of the story. i have no more storage. we're getting ready to move back to CO, so the whole apartment is in shambles. between all my issued gear and hunting gear, there is no room for anything.

My nuts are just fine. I actually respect my wife, novel concept, I know.

I guess my comment might have hit a little below the belt.

I'm sure short, fat, bald duck guides get really hot women in Paris, TX. rofl rofl rofl

good looking women in Paris TX, that's where my wife is from.

I respect my wife. She doesn't have a problem with me hunting every weekend during the season.

Not at all, good looking lady Hayraker.

My comment wasn't directed at anyone in particular, at all.

Guys who badmouth their wives get no respect from me. Joking around is one thing.

When Billy Badace is talking about how his old lady better do this or that, I just know, that's all.
