Bloodlines will be a good indicator.
Parents don't have to be field trial champs but SR to Master hunt titles on shire and dam will increase you odds of getting a good pup.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Talk to ironspikes, they helped me pick out my pup and she is a stud

They're not looking for one thing right....they're looking for one thing wrong.

Wherever you go make sure there are health clearances on both the sire and the dam. Hips, elbows, eyes, EIC,CNM and Optigen with some pedigrees. Make sure you see copies or the originals certificates stating the dog is indeed certified and has been tested.

Good Luck,

Angie

call Rody Best of Best retrievers. He has a litter coming up with a unbelieveble pedigree. The sire named Scout is an awesome chocolate lab. He went 5 for 5 to get his master title at the age of two. He also has competed in the super retriever series.
The dam is out of two grand dogs. I'm not sure on her titles but i think she may have her SH.
