but can try unstabilized rice bran (cost factor vs the $20+/bag stabilized), sweet feed, golden deer nuggets, etc. For the price, corn usually works just as good as the next... rice bran on porous rocks, logs, etc seems to last a little longer though if you can't make it out to a spot as often.
