I have been using 50 grain v-max moly's for years and for 9 months I been searching with no luck,, time to move on. V-max moly bullets have worked best of all the rounds I have used at stopping cats and dogs in their tracks with no holes. I have tried a lot of different ammo the last few months, with holes in your game you can put a softball in or game runs off. This is getting expensive, any suggestions from 22.250 users that have shot a few predators. At this time I am not interested in reloading, knowing that this may be my best bet.

Nosler BT's seem to work pretty good gonna try some Sierra stuff in the near future as well though.

Of the plastic tipped bullets, the Nosler 50 gr. BT's seem to be the best of the bunch. They are a bit sturdier and not quite as explosive. The 22-250 is not a fur friendly round to start with. Over the years I have settled on the 55 gr. Sierra #1365 SBT's. They are the most fur friendly bullet I have used in the 22-250 year in and year out. A lot of the guys like the 52 gr. HP's too.

The 50gr tsx will blow throw without expansion

Tsx's are awesome! but federals 55 grain sierra bthp work great, and are accurate in most rifles.

But the will blow holes!

Every thing I use blows holes. The 55 gr federal HP's big hole is not as big as the vmax big hole

But the will blow holes! I don't think any bullet will do that! Did you mean "But will they blow holes?"
