Anyone know if a stock for a ruger M77 mark II will work on the new hawkeye rifles?

I would think so, its the same rifle with a new internal trigger and different finish.
I bought a Hogue after market stock for my hawkeye and it was the same model code as my M77mkII

Anyone know if a stock for a ruger M77 mark II will work on the new hawkeye rifles? Yes, no problems. The only differences between the hawkeye and the mark II are the trigger, matte finish (supposed to be doing away w/ the matte in 2011) and the slimmer hawkeye stock. David

Thanks for the input...i am glad they are doing away with the new matte finish. Love the shiny blue and bright stainless on my mark II's.
