I could use some tips. I have never shot a bow until last year when I bought a new Diamond loaded out. From the first shot its been as accurate as my arm and eyes let it. Got a day lease bow hunt in 2 weeks. I havent hunted anything but ducks till now. Got all the equipment last year. Just never went. Cover scent is worring me a little since I need to be close. Shot angle worries me alittle too. I get on the roof of my house and shoot targets. Im not picky on the deer, just want some meet in the freezer.

No 3D's. I shoot one of those over priced arrow box things. I try to simulate as much as possible. I was actually thinking to over think my shot. Make sure I would pierce as much vital at given angle??

I hunted your neck of the woods yesterday, the rut is in full swing. I hunted between Athens and Palestine. Got two doe's in the morning and a nice mature cull buck in the afternoon, the buck are on the prowl. Good luck to ya.

You can practice till your arm falls off but when you get out there and see that deer everything goes to pot. Just remember your yardage and your form. Then just enjoy every moment. Good luck!
